The Studio is a 3 bedroom, traditional semi-detached
coastal house set in a beautiful location on the South Devon Coast
On the cliffs of Sharpitor, The Studio sits amongst National Trust woodland, overlooking the sandbar, marking the entrance to Salcombe Estuary
The unspoilt views from The Studio take in the spectacular Devon coastline,
the broad estuary towards Salcombe and form the centre piece
to this idyllic, tucked away, holiday location

There's an open fire for winter evenings and picture window

and you are on the Bolt Head to Bolt Tail National Trust coastal path

Sandy Beaches
Mill Bay, Moor Sands and Gara Rock, are complemented by South/North Sands and numerous secret coves
Perfect for exploring by boat,
kayak or paddle board
Salcombe

Salcombe is a beautiful coastal town and
centre for sailing on a broad estuary
It's also home to some of the finest Devon pasties, crab sandwiches
and Gin you're ever likely to find

Sit and Relax
Visitors have been known to do nothing at all when spending time at the studio. The view and garden are often more than enough
Food and Drink
There are some fabulous places to eat locally. South Sands Hotel is within a five minute walk, as is the recently developed Harbour Beach Club Hotel & Spa. The Winking Prawn (North Sands) and several pubs and restaurants in Salcombe, mean there's always somewhere new to try

A short walk from the Studio, is the wonderful National Trust's
Overbecks Garden - with an array of tropical plants, meandering walkways and 'Gastrobox Takeaway'

South Sands and East Portlemouth Ferries
Jump on the sea-tractor at South Sands and be warmly welcomed aboard by the Harvest Reaper team: www.southsandsferry.co.uk who will drop you off, after a 15 minute ferry ride, in central Salcombe
Weather permitting the South Sands Ferry is operating from
Wednesday 10th April until Saturday 2nd November 2024
From October, the last sailing will be 16:45hrs from Salcombe and 17:00hrs from South Sands

There's also the East Portlemouth ferry which runs across the estuary from the steps of the Ferry Inn at Salcombe, so you can explore the beaches and coastal paths on both sides of the water
